On Christmas Eve…
Shouts of glee will be heard all around, as Rudolph’s very shiny nose guides a team of sugary reindeer to the head of your dessert table!
Reindeer Sugar Cones
- Sugar cones (9)
- Licorice Bridge Mix
- Edible eyes (craft store)
- 1/3c. white chocolate chips
- Chocolate Twizzlers
- Jelly beans/small candies
- Styrofoam rectangle
To create reindeer faces, melt white chocolate chips and use to adhere two edible eyes to the front of each sugar cone.
Attach a single red licorice candy to Rudolph’s snout. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen, receive black licorice noses.
Hold noses in place for several seconds, so chocolate can set up. Using foam as a base, stand reindeer cones upright. Allow white chocolate to dry completely.
For antlers, carefully cut Twizzlers in half. Insert two shortened Twizzler strips into each cone.
Fill reindeer cones to the brim with jelly beans or your favorite miniature candies… or ice cream, of course!
Arrange atop your Christmas buffet and enjoy!
*If you’re unable to locate Licorice Bridge Mix, feel free to substitute red and black spice drops.
