Winter’s wonder will surely fill the heart of your home…
As cream-filled snack cakes become frosty-faced treats with a plunge in white chocolate and a few playful accessories!
Snowman Pops
- Oreo’s Golden Cakesters
- Almond bark (vanilla)
- Light blue candy melts
- Blue sugar crystals
- Cry Baby Tears (sour candy)
- M&M Mini’s
- Lollipop sticks
- Styrofoam rectangle
- Narrow ribbon
Insert one lollipop stick into the cream-filled layer of each Oreo Cakester. Lay flat on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and transfer to the freezer for twenty minutes.
Melt almond bark according to package directions. Remove pops from the freezer and dip into the melted white candy coating. Allow excess to drain away before inverting. Use foam base to keep pops upright while drying.
Reserve all remaining almond bark. It will be used to decorate snowman faces.
For hats, melt blue candy wafers. Dip the top of each snowman’s head into pale blue liquid, then immediately into a shallow bowl filled with blue sugar crystals. Return pops to the foam base until hats are completely set.
Lay snowmen flat on a clean work surface. Reheat leftover almond bark until just melted. Use to adhere two brown M&M eyes and one orange teardrop candy nose to each face.
Fashion scarves by tying narrow ribbon around lollipop sticks.
Serve and enjoy!
